2 Minutes in the morning and 2 minutes at night is all it takes to look good, for longer

Skincare doesn't have to be complicated, time-consuming, or expensive. All you need is a couple of minutes each day, and your future self will thank you.

  • Clean skin

Your skin needs cleaning. That doesn't mean exfoliating 24/7. But it does mean you should strive to clean it when you wake up, and before you go to sleep. During the day you skin gets polluted and we want to ensure that you manage take off any harmful pollutants that might be bad for your skin. We also want to clean our skin in the morning to help take away any dead skin cells we might have on our face, as well as dust and other things we can accumulate on our face during the night.

  • Hydration

We all need hydrated skin. As we get older, there are a whole host of things our skin slowly starts to produce less of. By applying moisturizer we can help our skin stay hydrated and fresh to help offset the drop in production. Moisturizer helps give our skin a protective barrier, while it also improves elasticity and regulates oils production.

  • Antioxidants and retinoids

Antioxidants, and especially Vitamin C are the precursors for your skins ability to create and use collagen. And, if you apply it to your skin directly, that will help tremendously with exactly that. In addition, you want retinoids (Retinol for younger men, retinaldehyde for men between 30-50, and retanoic acid for anyone above 50), which produces vitamin A, that boosts skin turnover, health, and appearance, and helps with collagen production.

  • Mineral based sunscreen

UV rays can be harmful to your skin, and unfortunately increases probability of skin cancer. By staying out of the sun between 10am and 4pm you are doing your skin a favor. In addition, you want to put on mineral based sunscreen to protect your skin during the day. These sunscreens are based usually on Zinc Oxide or Titanium dioxide (minerals), and are efficient at protecting your skin, while also avoiding the use of chemicals that can be harmful.

Hopefully, now you see that it doesn't take much time to look good, for longer. All you have to do is commit.
